    Hi all,

We recently decided to plant Red Robins as an hedge.
Due to the pandemic, we were "forced" to buy online, some of the plants seem to be growing in all the directions except Up :(

I decided to try to "shape" the plant with some canes and a piece of lose string.

Before I do this in the majority of our plants, is this a good ideia? or I am just wasting time?

    thanks in advance,
    Pedro

I'm assuming you have already planted them Pedro? Before trying anything though I would contact the nursery you bought them from and tell them the problem. They should replace them but that depends on how good their customer service is.

I'm sorry, I know very little about them so perhaps other gardeners here will be able to help you. :)

Might be worth posting a photo of the plants you have actually received as all the RR we have seen are always quiet upwardly bushy.

Could be that they are weaken and flagging due to lack of water etc or poor roots.

Have they perked up a little now the cooler weather is on us, if its reached your area yet ?
