    I think it does work fine.
    The tomatoe shoots have grown very well and fast, along with othe plants I planted late, and are fruiting.
    Not sure if I will manage to see any ripe tomatoes, given they are outside, but the temperature is going up again and the sun is showing up, so perhaps I will.
