Well yes, both are true in their world - it was the right decision to take it away because it was popular with their voters who believe that everything that is wrong is the fault of all those pensioners who are all absolutely rolling in money; now it is the right decision to give it back because they've had a drubbing at the ballot box and the MP's don't want to lose their seat on the gravy train

If this country, or more accurately the politicians in it, took their heads out of their arses long enough, the answers are staring them plain in the face. If they were stuck to , I guarantee that I could make decisions within a day that would improve things and result in a growing economy.

      # Pause building of the likes of HS2 and every single cycle lane etc and target all of those construction workers to building houses (and not only high rise flats)
      # Build numerous power stations and get our energy costs right down
      # Invest in infrastructure for water, sewerage (particularly where dual purpose hydro power can be added)
      # Foreign nationals to be billed or their country of origin to be billed for any medical treatments on the NHS, just as other countries do.
      # Anyone arriving on a small boat - send them packing, immediately. Israel can clearly do it, so why can't we?
      # No benefits for anyone migrating into the country until they have worked here and contributed for at least 5 years, beyond critical/urgent medical care required whilst they are working here.
      # Scrap punitive motoring taxation/costs/fines/LTN's and get the country moving.

And that is just within 5 mins..

Aye but the first thing is to persuade politicians that their heads weren't really designed to fit up their rectums. Altho, if you take it a step further, how do they then manage to produce so much crap ? Bit of a puzzle don't you think ? Don't let it keep you awake tho @Fat Controller

Not that I liked Boris, but didn't he name Starmer Captain flip flop a long time ago.
Starmer just changes policy from one minute to the next.
I think he's going to get hammering from his mates the unions in the coming months, he's down as a soft touch.
