    Visited the new RHS Bridgewater at weekend , Thought I'd share some of the pictures for those who are to far away to visit. I were slightly disappointed with the visit but that maybe is just my expectations being to high.

          What's the purple shrubs on the RH side in the 3rd from last picture.

              Yes they were fairy tall , I were sat on a bench which maybe making them look bigger than they are .

                Yes I agree with the grasses , I did actually go to look at grasses for my own garden but they were far to repetitive along with other plants.

                  Beautiful images and blooms,..its a different type of garden than what we are used to seeing,..big open spaces,..water features aplenty,..who ever designed it probably had that Oriental type of garden in his or her mind,..open spaces,..water running through,..enjoyable photo trip :)

                    I think it is the Michaelmas Daiises in the 4th picture. I too am interested in the tall shrubs on the right with the golden tree to the left.

                      Next time I visit which will be in the Spring I'll get an ID on that Michaelmas daisy.
