          My two daughters & my late wife, always used to take the micky out of me as I liked Vera.

          Even though I was just a babe during the war. I remember well hearing her singing on a crackerling radio. Upon grow up, I realised just what a luv she was to all those away from home.

          Many of us still listen to Glenn Miller and others. She will never fade from our memories.
