I have this huge rose bush which has spread in all directions. I've got a few cable ties on it to keep it upright.

In November I want to dig it up and move it somewhere else so it's not in the way, but it looks like i have to cut it, but where?

@Seafigicecoffee, in November when the rose is dormant i.e. has lost all it's leaves and looks 'dead' you can cut the lot down to about 30 cm high. If any of the roots are long and straggly, it won't hurt to cut those back as well so that it fits into it's new place.
You will need to dig quite a big hole and make sure that it's planted at the same soil level as before - you should be able to tell from the colour of the bark. I would also improve the soil with some well rotted bagged manure beforehand.

Thank you, I didn't know you can cut it down that far.

Seafigicecoffe is 100% correct with her advice. I took me years to realise that you could be so brutal with a rose. But as another thought what about cutting it back and buying a Arch or obelisk and let it clamber up that. It could look great.
