Inherited this rose when I moved in 2yrs ago. It was basically one shoot and one rose.
This year its been flowering, almost continually :yay:

But it would be nice to know what it is. TIA

You've got me on this one Mum - If no one comes up with an answer I think we will just have to call it Mums 'Peach Apricot Rose'. By the way is it fragrant?

Thank you, Anne. It is a delicate fragrance only, but quite a pretty thing (I'm not really a rose kind of gal - but I do like this one :heehee: )

Hi Mum no worries my friend:)This explanation is only a generalization, Floribunda rose plants grow to heights ranging from 2 to 4 ft. The shaping of floribunda shrubs is rounder and fuller with leaves and flowers covering the shrub from the ground to the tips of the shrub's branches. Hybrid tea roses grow as upright shrubs, with flowers blooming mainly at the stems' tips. The appearance of hybrid tea shrubs can become leggy, since shrubs can grow as high as 5 feet, leaving much of the branch or stem bare.
One flower on each stem is characteristic of hybrid tea varieties. Hybrid tea roses feature long stems, making the blooms ideal for cutting. The flowers of hybrid tea roses feature a "high centre point" that is characteristic of the variety. Floribundas feature shorter stems, each of which blooms with clusters of large flowers. Each floribunda stem features three to 15 blooms. The flowers tend to be somewhat flatter or shaped, similar to a rosette.:phew: I,m going to have a lie down now:heehee: Then I will have a look for your rose:dbgrtmb::)

Aw, thank you, woo! A very full explanation and much appreciated :ThankYou:
Based on that, it sounds like my pretty is a Hybrid Tea, although it hasn't reached the dizzy height of 5' (yet).

You're a star and I thank you :dbgrtmb:

The bud is more of a deep peach with a yellow tinge and then it opens to the beautiful apricot coloured bloom in the first picture.

When I first moved in, I thought it may have been a Whisky Mac - but that's only because I was with my Mum when she bought one many moons ago :heehee: But I think a Whisky Mac has a strong fragrance; this is very delicately fragrance (you really have to stick your nose in and take a deep breathe to notice it).
