Potato Day makes potatoes a ‘must grow’ for local gardeners!

If you're in the area, then come and see us!

    SE Essex Seed Potato Day

    Saturday 27 February

    10am – 2pm

Growing Together Westcliff, corner of Fairfax Drive and Prittlewell Chase, SS0 9AG

    Free admission - refreshments available

Trust Links is delighted to be hosting again this year Seed Potato Day in conjunction with South East Essex Organic Gardeners on Saturday 27 February.

With approximately 40 varieties of seed potato, some organic, sold individually at 15p per tuber (same price as last year!), SE Essex Seed Potato Day gives local gardeners the chance to buy seed potatoes by the tuber, meaning anyone - from those with just enough space for a potato grow-bag, or an entire allotment plot - can get started on growing some spuds as soon as the weather improves!

There will also be Stuttgart Giant and Turbo onion sets for sale, plus organic fertiliser! Trust Links will also be selling the plants and vegetables raised in the Growing Together Garden.

Refreshments will be available, including jacket potatoes.

The event is free and runs from 10am until 2pm. Visitors should use the Prittlewell Chase entrance.

    BREAKING NEWS!

The East Essex Smallholders are coming down to do a seed swap stall for people to bring their seeds and take what they fancy!

Don't worry if you don't have a swap , as you can also buy for a small fee.

Plus one Eastern Rep is coming down from The National Allotment Society.
