    Hi Everyone,

my kids have a play area which has been sprinkled liberally with chipped bark pretty much every year since we moved in here, now it has a thin layer of compost on the bottom.

I want to seed it up with wild flowers-do I just rake it over and sprinkle away or do I need to deliberately impoverish the area before I do so.

And whatever has to be done, which seeds to I use-I know you can buy them ready mixed but perhaps you peeps know something I don`t -well maybe not perhaps......you will
