Elon Musk and his partner Grimes have welcomed their first child together, and when asked the child's name, he wrote - "X Æ A-12"

    Sky News

Clearly 'Grimes' is his good lady's stage name, but the moniker that they have given that child is surely unpronounceable? It certainly is for me! i also understand that Electric Jesus has billions in the bank and therefore few cares in the world except where his next spliff is coming from, but that poor wee child will have to live with that for the rest of it's life.

    I must be getting old

Elon Musk isn't a great name either.
      Grimes is even better.

Too much money can turn you into an idiot.
      Glad I'm poor.

Wasn't he the idiot who wiped $14 billion off the value of his company with a tweet a few days ago - yes it's a different world some people inhabit.

New word for the day. Spliff. Never heard that one. We call them left handed cigarettes, joints, tijuana tokers, etc.

Now, if you could change your name would you? And if so, what?

            I think I'd make a really great Grizelda :)

The sad thing is, he and Tesla have done a lot of good - not only to advance EV's, but also in terms of grid storage etc, but he switches people off just by thoroughly obnoxious at times. Maybe it is because he doesn't have to care about anything nowadays that is the reason for the way he is?

They get called joints here too (and probably other things too) - I confess I don't know a lot about it having never partaken. Alcohol and cigarettes have been my only bad habits, and I haven't had a cigarette for around 17 years.

I have always considered smoking to be the hardest habit/drug to give up. I finally gave it up in 1984, that was such a milestone in my life. I ended up with shingles on my head and face. I screamed the house down with the pain. Then tree months later I had a hell of a fight trying to get of the medication. Val had a much stronger will power. I'd come in from my workshop having as I thought secretly having had a few puffs. It wasn't until years lateer, watchin New Tricks on TV. Brian Lane played the part of a former alckie. His wife would when doubting him, ask for a kiss. Val obviously found me out every time, by a simple kiss. 1984 was without doubt my, annas horribilus. I was also medically retired fom HM Gov.

Even now all these years later. Having enjoyed a fine meal. I often reach for the baccy or pipe

I managed to resist partaking, even at college where it was in use quite frequently. Even the students used it as well :heehee:. Smoking and drinking was another matter but I gave up both in 1963 (medical reasons) and never touched either since.

Well, I can honestly say, hand on Heart, Scouts Honour, that I have never smoked in my Life. While in the rif raf cigarettes were 10 shillings for 200
                                [IMG]

But because everyone else in the rif raf seemed to smoke I used to carry a packet of 20 in my pocket and offer them around when with friends. It used to cause surprise when people offered me a cigarette and I refused saying I didn't smoke. When going to a party it was customary to take a packet of 200 and put them on a table for everyone to help themselves. The fact that I never smoked was due not to anything anti-smoking but I just didn't have the inclination or see why people sucked smoke into their lungs.:dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
