Should I put water in my compost bin?

Hi everyone

Not sure about this one as I never have before but think I have read/heard that it helps to do this.

Any ideas guys?

Ifit's in the sun and very dry, yes water will help get things going.

Any idea how often?

 

Mine is in the shade for most of the day. I water it once a week and it keeps it "cooking" fine.

 

Will benefit from a wee bit of water!

 

Cover it with an old rug or bit of carpet and it will help prevent evaporation.
