    Anyone put a name to this for me?
    Plant is about less than 20 cms tall. The individual flowers are no more than 2 mm across. The leaves are slightly hairy.

      Brilliant, thank-you. Went all the way through my books of wildflowers and failed to recognise it. The picture in the Roger Phillips book is very poor compared to the ones you posted.
      Says mainly found on chalk, but this area is acidic. Rhododendrons growing next to this for example.
