It's falling pretty steadily here...I'm meant to be in Shepton Mallet tomorrow, sort of hoping it hangs around long enough to warrant a day at home!

This is my first post using my new tablet :dbgrtmb:. I was out working late last night and conditions weren't great. The snow was falling thick in places making visibility difficult. It came and went through the night. Some places were worse than others.

About 6 miles from here there is a small market town. I had to do a couple of runs there last night. The snow there had covered everything and the paths and roads were white. It was coming down heavy too. It took me so long to complete that job I had to phone and cancel the job that was due to follow. I hate cancelling jobs like that. I feel I'm letting them down.

Anyway. Coming back into the city limits, the roads suddenly became a lot clearer. The city council is obviously a lot more proficient at gritting roads. It was very apparant where the boundary was :snorky:.

I had a final pick up at 12.30 from a stables in the middle of nowhere. Again the snow was thick and was coming down heavy. My passengers remarked that the local weather forecast was for continuous heavy snow from 2am til 10am.

When I got home I found my drive to be reasonably clear. My drive slopes up to the road. My wife starts work at 6 am so I was worried about her getting out of the drive. Part of me thought I might grit the road before I turned in to save me getting up early in the morning.

                    I'm glad I didn't bother.
