This is where we have been spending some time this summer. A lot of work over the last 2 to 3 years but we are enjoying it now. It is only a postage stamp but it is a peaceful postage stamp

It does look peaceful. Very pretty. Gardens don't have to be big to enjoy them!

Really, really nice, Salgor. Your garden's not that small and you've used the space very well indeed. I love the colour you've brought into the garden with the pots etc, and by the excellent results you know your stuff about looking after them.:thumbsup::D

Thats lovely Sally, as long as you've got somewhere to relax then thats big enough.

I can't really relax at the home plot as its so open, always someone that can see you & offer things/advice that you really don't want/need.

Oh for some spare dosh, just to fence a bit of it off.

Thanks to you all for your comments.

I think my love of plants is in the genes as, although I never knew him, my grandad was head gardener at a large house in the Bristol area back in the beginning of the last century. In fact he also taught my Dad everything he knew about gardening and I can remember trailing round all the different areas of the garden with Dad when I was very small and information soaked up at the age stays with you forever.

A couple of incidents I remember, for which I wasn't very popular, was crawling between the rows of peas and eating them but leaving the pods hanging and another time bringing in a lovely bunch of bright red runner bean flowers for my Mum. What kids do, eh! :D

              Sally
