    Yes Ladybird, I have grown peanuts in the past, but the red spider got them before they could grow any nuts. Bet Jimmy Carter never had that problem. Have you tried Pomegranates?

    Yes Pete, our Labrador pup had the same problem - only it was the vet and not red spider that spoiled his "crop"!

    We had one but the Spider got at ours too .... Is there anything to rid us of this evil little beastie ???

    Nathan I assume you're referring to the peanuts and not the labrador.
    Red spider I have found are resistant to every chemical available to the amateur gardener, and the only effective control is preditory mites which you can buy.
