Sorry I missed a GC Chrimbo ...

    ... apologies to all for going MIA at a time when I would have enjoyed spending it with you all (but, I was "thinking" of you all :thumbsup: )!

    Had the most unexpected, but most wonderful Christmas present, "present" itself on my doorstep on the 23rd ....








    ... Son (who was not supposed to be here for Christmas - and who I was going to surprise with a "surprise" day trip on the 25th) ... paid a "surprise" home visit!! :thud: :yikes: :roflol:

    Now, to me, *that* is what the whole Season is about - not the gifts/wrapping/food (although, they do have their place :heehee: ) - but, that magical moment which screams: LOVE!
    AKA - what's in the fridge, I'm starving!!! :roflol:
    Erm: :scratch: scratch that, reverse it ...

    ... that magical moment which screams CUPBOARD LOVE!!!!! :loll:

    He's safely back at his student digs now (despite rail delays/ disruption :nonofinger: bah humbug) and his cupboards are, once more, groaning under the weight of Santa's bounty ;) :heehee:

    Sometimes, I am so busy doing the planning/secret squirrel stuff/surprises .. that, I forget, my boys have actually inherited some of my genes/ways ;) That one moment, on my doorstep, when he turned up out of the blue ... total magic! :thumbsup:

                            Seems there's a lot of it about this year. When my oldest daughter arrived on the doorstep on Christmas morning, the surprise wasn't her arrival (we were expecting her). It was the way she dashed past me and headed straight for the toilet! Poor thing spent all Christmas day curled up on the sofa under a duvet. That's a Christmas she won't forget in a hurry. :heehee:

                                Val,i seen so many people with colds and violent coughs(lasting weeks) whilst at work(staff&customers)its scary!! luckily ive not caught anything yet but i do hope you are feeling better soon x
