I'm still trying to get some more photos from people I think may have taken some.

I've found these on Mrs Shiney's camera :)

The band on Saturday - setting up

The band on Sunday (brilliant weather on Saturday but not so good on Sunday). I'm very pleased to say that, after two days of noise and hundreds of people, the adult blackbirds that have their nest and young in the Euonymous hedge alongside the performance area are still feeding them :dbgrtmb:

@Beckie76 just wondering if you have any photos of your fully grown bush? :lunapic 130165696578242 5::heehee::loll: Genuinely as I'm trying to work out where to plant it. Is it deciduous or evergreen? Shade or sun (what actually is it). I recall you telling me but I think I was too busy laughing to take in what you were saying lol

Pink shrimp bush? I must admit that I am looking forward to tending Becky's bush, and I want to make sure that I hit the spot just right too....

We totted up the money the other day and it ended close to £4,000 (would have been a lot more if it didn't rain on Sunday :dunno:) but more money will be coming in over the next few months as people come round for plants and produce. I took another £80 yesterday, we have a local gardening club coming next week etc.

This time of year we have people popping round for foliage for flower shows and demonstrations (we don't charge for it). The flower shows are usually for the churches in the villages around and the demonstrations are usually for the many flower arranging clubs in the area. A national demonstrator popped in yesterday for her foliage. Some of the demonstrators have 'cutting rights' in the garden and know which plants they're able to use.

Brilliant! A very just reward for all your hard work.

Hope you both have recovered and wondering how your garden is now after do many visitors your lawns must have taken a lot of traffic?

                    Thanks John,

We've just about recovered and are spending a lazy week walking, meeting up with friends, going out in the evenings and eating a good variety of foreign foods.

The lawn is recovering as well. If we hadn't used the lawn protectors around the plant stalls it would have been terrible.
