Special Invite To Forum Members - 2019

OK, these are in no particular order, and have not been edited/cropped in any way...




These young folks sang their hearts out for us, and I think it is fair to say that they were absolutely outstanding!

This young lady in particular (in my humble opinion) is set to be a star, and I really would not be surprised to see her on TV someday because she is famous as a result of her voice. Sorry the picture isn't great, it was a long distance shot, but I am sure that @shiney will be able to enlighten us as to who they all are.

And then onto the garden itself......... taken on an amble, in the style of our @ARMANDII, and I know we were all thinking of him today and wishing him well.

Of course, whilst for us it was all about the fun and the socialising, everything goes to aid a very worthy cause (I am sure that @shiney would be able to advise anyone who was unable to attend, but would still like to make a donation):

I have no idea what this is, but isn't it just glorious!

Again, another long distance shot, so not the best, but the lady singing here has one of those voices..... you know, the sort you could listen to all day and never tire. Her range and variety is remarkable (and she is so lovely too!)

Any fears that I had about an empty garden this year are slowly evaporating:




And back home...... my garden is sadly not a patch on @shiney's, but none the less I love it. We managed to just catch the garden centre around the corner from our house on our way in (we needed compost), and inevitably we ended up with some carrots, edamame beans and a couple of fuchsias - here is today's purchases before we put them away.



The sheer hard work that @shiney and Mrs Shiney put in to arranging this year cannot be overestimated - but boy is it worth it. Mrs C and I would like to extend our personal thanks to both @shiney and Mrs Shiney for such a warm welcome, and a wonderful day.

I would also like to thank everyone on the GC table - it really was lovely to see you all, even if it was somewhat briefly; and thank you for being.... well, for being you really, and for being such a happy, friendly bunch. I consider it an honour to know each of you.
