    I didn't get much time to take photos but got a few close-ups of the singers. The youngsters are all training at different well known theatre schools but some do perform in the West End shows. Jess has also been awarded a Dance and Drama Award.

    And this is the incomparable Sarah M - a superb professional singer (she was also running the sound control for the youngsters as she had connected their equipment to hers).

    She can sing any style of music and was even taking request. Most of what she sang were typical standards with jazz overtones but also sang songs from shows and requests for Take That and Queen.

        Thanks Mr and Mrs Shiney for being so welcoming and for all your very hard work to make the day so special. It was lovely to meet you both again and the GC gang. I hadn't met @Freddy and Aunt Sally before so that was really nice.

        Good company, beautiful gardens, non-stop entertainment, buying plants, gorgeous weather, yummy cakes, tea and curry - what a memorable day!

          Great to see Fat Controller in such good form after such a traumatic year and his lovely wife Lisa who nursed him back to recovery ,Russ gives her all the credit for getting him through.
          I am sure she must take credit for taking his great photos.

          Great to see Freddie and Aunt Sally for the first time too ,retirement seems to suit Freddie as he is a happy chappie..........Anyone want a pergola built.........he is your man.

          What can I say about GC,s most handsome couple ,Snorky and her dishy partner.
          He’ll never make a gardener and I think that's the way she likes it.

          Then there is naughty Beckie.........effervescent as usual.

          And one of our keenest Gardeners Gary and Mrs.Jack Sparrow.......loaded with plants which he has no room for.

          Not forgetting our celebrity gardener John (JFK) wearing a very fetching straw hat.......such a nice bloke.

          Thanks to Michael and Hannah who work tirelessly ,relentlessly for their charity ,as for their open garden ,Its difficult to please everybody but they seem to manage.
          Whatever they are on I would like some.

          A moments pause for absent friends.
          Specially one.
          Everybody’s best friend.

                        Thank you all for the kind comments and likes on the photos - I do have to make it clear that they are Mrs C's handy work and not mine :)

                        And there is one more photo - as we were leaving, @JWK very kindly took the photo below, which I think is a real cracker. Given that this time last year I couldn't stand up unaided, let alone walk anywhere, it has been a bit of an uphill climb; I am truly thankful for the huge amount of support from the medical staff, neighbours, and of course my GC friends (GC family really); but the hard work has been done by Mrs C, my love, my rock.
