      Thanks @Purple Streaks it was always a great event with about 500 people turning up. We had non-stop entertainment, a lot of side stalls and there was even head massage, reflexology etc. available.

      fortunately, although we didn't open we still raised over £4,000 for the charity with some donations and a lot of people popping in for plants. We were able to organise the plants because people emailed or phoned to see what was available and we put their orders in the front garden and put their money in the charity boxes. We were able to stand at a distance and talk to them.

      When you have time you may want to look through some of the other threads with links on the first page of this thread. There are pictures of the garden, plant stalls, entertainers and a lot of GC members. :biggrin:

      We opened our garden for around 20 years. :)
