I will be planting a walnut tree in a 95 Litre Rootex root control bag.

There have been other trees (stumps - possibly conifers) nearby, so I intend not to use the soil from the hole as it might have the wrong pH or lack the nutrients for the walnut to thrive.

Which compost would be best to fill the root bag?

I have been thinking about John Innes No3, but perhaps there is something more suitable?
