      Fantastic photos Stephen.... they just draw you in ... you should enter one into the photo completion. I think I can see Wales in the background on some of them... my home ground.... spent many days looking across the other way:heehee:

            Thank you guys :-) Apple Blossom; I can't enter because they're edited, but I could enter an unedited version. Yes looking towards Talacre on two of them I think. From the otherside, you don't see the sunset sadly, only this side :-)

            Jiffy, the blue was already there but to make the blue sky and the sunset more prominent (and more contrasting, I increased the contrast and took the highlights right out of it, which brings out the details in the sky.

            I took a load more but I have no energy to sort them out at the moment but I will

                I love the editing process.. I brings the creative artistic element into photography. That said I try to keep as close to original as possible.. I just like to make things stand out more. The fields were black but I brought out the colour to represent what I saw with my eye. The camera overcompensates for light sometimes.
