    Oh they will, all the slabs are numbered so they can go back in the same place, conservation dilemma occurs when one gets broken. Do you replace it or repair it?

    No easy answer to that one, been dealing with that sort of problem most of my working life.

      Went to the tarr steps in 1959 , when on holiday in Minehead , it was a very hot summer :old: I thought they were iron age period , but Wiki says Medieval ?
      ( and for the young uns on here 1959 was not the iron age ! )

        1959 was a great year for 8 year olds Zig ! It must have been pre motorways and Butlins for Minehead . I actually learnt how to swim in the open air baths there , on the beach everyday , skittle alleys outside , great stuff :dbgrtmb:

          I used to swim in the seawater pool on the beach to Harry, pre motorways etc... :heehee:

          Did Minehead have a seawater pool Marley ? I know Ilfracombe had one.
          I haven't actually swum in the sea since Jaws 1 :biggrin:
