In the woods this morning:-

I believe this is celandine (?)


A clump of emerging bluebells

And, I'm guessing, a rare sight of snowdrops with bluebell. Not a brilliant picture, but I did have an Oz keep sticking his nose under my arm to hurry me along

Had an enjoyable walk around some of the local woods and heaths in the spring sunshine today.

 

Some of the more random things I saw on my walk today. A bonus point for the first person to identify the objects in the last photo.

Tank traps for small tanks!

 

Bonus point to Strongy.

They are indeed tank traps, installed during WW2. Although I quite like Shiney's idea of a buried castle too.

Not sure if these blocks are for the same purpose as Trunky's because, as you can see, these are at different levels And I can't imagine why a tank would want to go through there either
