I took these pictures during breaks in the awful weather we've had today. Five locks on the Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus.

Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove this morning.
I had my 70-300mm lens instead of the 18-55mm and found that at 70mm I couldn't get subjects in the frame.

 

That's good to hear, now can you send them down here please as people here don't (but not me )

A dis-armed trebuchet

 

I wish @shiney! I don't think my pocket would extend to it's renovation costs though, sorry @Zigs. A little work on the trebuchet would see to any defence issues.

 

Back to work today on a cold, frosty, foggy morning. Glad I was too, otherwise I'd have missed seeing all this - everything coated with rime. A photo opportunity too good to miss.

 

We checked out a walk at Tolpuddle this morning but not early enough to see all the frosting.
