Beaver lodge with the branches stripped of their bark and bleaching in the sun. Best not to get too close in my little rubber boat.

 

Have you seen the beavers Hydrogardener? I'm not sure whether they are nocturnal or not.

 

Sheal, at times they out during the day. If you don't see them and they see you they hit the water with their tails so hard it sounds like a cannon. It can really give you a fright. They may be nearsighted as I had one walk right between my legs one time while I was taking photos of a Flicker's nest, both of us got a good scare that time.

Stopped off at this hide (blind in the States) on my way to meet Mrs S for lunch but this was not what I came to see!!




They were really quite friendly, one even tried to lick my hand

 

If you want some wild ones, there down here they won't get near to you to lick your hand, I've nearly had one kick me in the chest when out for a walk

 

Some cows chased me out of a field recently, I had to wade across a river to get away from them, good job I'm a young 50 year.

 

Them Bullocks with they're bits missing, no-wonder they lashed out i've seen it being done, good job my Docter vet doesn't want to do it to me
