              That takes me back a good 50 years to the two different songs about the Erie Canal. 'Low Bridge' ( more commonly known as The Erie Canal Song) and 'The E-Ri-E Canal'. Both were well known in the fifties on this side of the pond with the first one by Pete Seeger and the second by The Weavers (with Pete Seeger).
