Thank you Philip and Victoria. :) There are flowers in window boxes on some of the shops and the two hotels too. It's difficult to take shots of those with car parking directly in front.

It's been cooler here this last week @glengarry23 so he wouldn't have been hot in the car. Autumn has arrived early unfortunately and it was just 5C/41F at 8am yesterday.

Its still too warm to sit in a car here,..alas Autumn is well established here but no sign of it as yet,..Traditional Autumn begins here on August 1st,..Meteoroligists record it from Sept 1st

Celtic autumn starts in August. The Welsh name for July is Gorffenaf, which translated into English means 'summer's end', so August is autumn.
The weather may be warm but the traditional Celtic autumn is August September and October.

I go by the weather and nature ignoring the traditional dates and would say it's a good fortnight earlier this year. :)

There were hundreds of them that showed up as there was an early morning mist.

After a grim start to the weather today, it cleared fairly early and Mr S and I had a fine day in Plockton near the Kyle of Lochalsh on the west coast.
