@Vince - as you know, the NHS worked a bit of a miracle keeping me kicking around this world, so I can assure you that you are in the safest of hands. I for one will look forward to shaking your hand at @shineyland this year, and to you 'telling me so' that everything is all OK. Trust me, I know from experience that it is best to 'bother the doctor' at the earliest opportunity.

I got to the lowest of the low 2 days back, I seriously considered suicide but my border collie knew and wouldn't stop nudging me. Tess is MY dog, like me she's getting old, she had a bad start to life but for her sins, ended up with me, we bonded immediately and have been inseparable since, through both good and bad times!

Good on her, Tess obviously knew when you needed her. Our animal friends are very astute, and can actually sense what is going on. Us humans have to be told - - but, that won't make us any less friends, or less supportive, and I know for sure I won't be alone in saying that I, we, are here and ready to chat.

You can PM me anytime you like - to chew the fat, offload, talk things over....... and there will be many others here that will do the same. Just chat to us, and remember it WILL get better. :grphg:

You put that very beautifully Vince, animals can express the message so much better than what we humans try to say with words. You are needed, you are loved.

I hope you will find a little peace and beauty tonight, to ready you to face another day. We are thinking of you, friend.

              Thank you Tess.

I'm sorry to hear you were feeling depressed but I'm glad you're past your lowest. Have faith in yourself (and Carol) because most of us are much stronger than we know and I know she's got your back.

Sincere concern and hugs from me

We all get low, most of us feel suicidal at times, but Vince please keep as positive and upbeat as you can
I’ve done enough as a volunteer with the Samaritans to know that talking is essential to well being. So talk....to us even on the forum :)
Yep, sounds a fantastic diet.....like the cider. Cider on doc’s orders? Wot can be better?
                            Good luck for Friday:)
