Who’s going to the Chelsea Flower Show? It starts next Tuesday (21st May) and runs until the Saturday. This year is going to be the centenary year, so there should be a few special exhibits alongside the usual collection of rate flora and ornate gardens.
If you’ve not been before, the show is essentially broken down in to a floral exhibition, a variety of differently themed show gardens and then trade displays of equipment.
The gardens are the most popular but if you’re really in to your flower growing then the show is definitely one to get to at some point - last year’s RHS Plant of the Year was a pink foxglove that was said to be “impossible to breed”, so the show is well worth a look!
If you are going, do send us your pictures.

    Local Accommodation:
If you’re looking for accommodation and hotels near the Chelsea Flower Show, Holiday Inn got in touch to point out that they have several hotels in London within easy reach, based in Kensington, Bloomsbury, Regent’s Park and Mayfair.

We only go "once every few years" but, with hindsight, would have liked to go for the centenary year - lots of other people too by the looks of it!
