The Ultimate Hellebore Thread

As requested here are our doubles plus some green and red flowered and H purpurascens.

Most of them are from a collection of 10 plug plants from T&M bought for us by daughter a few years back. This is the best they have been with dozens of flowering spikes on each plant. I have some self seeded ones and a large number of baby plants which came from doubles. so waiting to see how they flower.
I did have one which was dark green (like the ones on the right) with red doubled in the centre. But I cannot find it, so either it has not flowered or it has died. Hard to remember where it was too. We do have a few hundred of them.

 

These weren't even there when I took the purple ones in #15. I didn't know we had any white ones,

 

Just started on Hellebores got 1 green then bought the T&M collection last autumn, looking good so far will be planting out in permanent positions in Spring.

 

Any flowers for piccies then Pam?

 

The green are in flower and 1 of the T&M collection, it`s a single white, but hope they will all flower next winter.

 

I love this plant. Saw them in parent's neighbour's garden and got some of my own this autumn as plug plants. I planted them straight out, and so far apparently they are not to slugs taste ((cross fingers). But will they flower this year? They haven't so far. I got a common variety, can't remember which. They're all lovely in their own way so am not too concerned!
