I got talking to a bloke yesterday who helps out at the local bowling club. He was giving me advice and he told me I didn't need loads of fancy products to feed my lawn, he told me to use a local company who all the local bowling clubs use and plenty of other professionals who look after turf in the sports industry.

I'm a little confused as I thought the type of feed you use changes with the seasons, but this bloke told me this one product is all I need.

The site doesn't give much info on what's actually in the product.

I was told the people who run the business are very knowledgeable and also very helpful so I suppose I could ring them and put my questions to them but I'd rather get some opinions here first so if do do end up ringing them I know what questions I should be asking.

That website will be for domestic sales only. For professional usage they will be using bespoke products, which the groundsman will need to have had the soil analysed first. What you use will not be the same product that the professional will use. I know who they are, but by their company name, which is "Growing Solutions Ltd".

I supply lawn feeds to both the retail sector and in the past, to the professional sector, including our local football and ruby clubs. When using large amounts of fertiliser on the land it is now a requirement to have the soil tested, then the manufacturer can recommend the correct fertiliser and application rate pending on crop. Some of the fertilisers I use do not even have application rates on the packaging anymore.
