      Similar to me with subconsciously counting things. The were four of us on a short break to Paris in the late 1960's and we walked up the steps that lead to the Sacre Coeur chatting all the way. When we got to the top my friend asked me how many steps there were. I had to stop and think for what seemed like a long time but the others said it was about ten seconds and said 222. On the way back down we all counted them and I was correct. :rolleyespink:

      I wonder whether they have a name for my peculiar type of ability and would it be considered an affliction of some sort as I have other mathematical peculiarities. Lots of silly stories about it.

      I did notice when I became an octogenarian that the ability was already nowhere near as acute.

          Just take the under wire out of the bra, i did it with Miss Jiff's and it stopped the noise in the washing machine, i haven't started wearing a bra yet but i may have to in the furture with my man boob's
