As today has turned into a summer's day I took my camera into the garden. I only got par the way round the front garden when my battery started to run out. So here are some of what I took.

              I'm becoming very inefficient!

There was a tapping on the glass of the back door at 7 a.m. this morning. One of the girls had come to tell me that the bird feeder was empty and the family were waiting for breakfast.

They never used to be so impatient and just used to hang around until I filled the feeders.

The problem I have is that if there isn't food in the feeders they start digging up the lawn. There are now a number of bare patches where they have been looking for seed.

It's a no win situation then. I lived amongst farmland in my last house and miss the pheasants now.........but not the rabbits. :)
