It's someone else's cross. It doesn't have a name. Yet...

Thanks. I'm growing both of those this year, so I'll keep an eye out.

I find House tomato by Real Seeds a good micro one.

So far I have just sown Stupice which I hope to grow in a big pot and get some early toms.
Can anyone recommend an outdoor bush tomato which is blight resistant?

I recently received some seeds of that one in a swap. I can't fit it into my grow list this year but it's good to get a recommendation.

The state of my envelope from Meraki Seeds! Looks like it's had quite the adventure. PXL_20260228_115135412~2.jpg I know I'm not the only person to receive their order in this condition today. Thankfully, the seeds look to be okay, all in good quality ziplocks. Fingers crossed.

Last night sowed tomato seeds; Black Opal, Orange Wellington, Montecarlo, Alicante, Sun Gold, Campbell 33 and Principe Borghese.
Will move to propagator this morning.

I'm waiting for midMarch to sow tomatoes. So far only mild chillies germinated (Biquinho Yellow and Red) and tomatillo Verde, no sign of Pineapple for nearly a month.

                  Sowed a few more:
                  Dwarf Irma's Highland
                  Hungry Like the Wolf
                  Black Russian
                  Cherry Roma
                  Grusha Chernaya
                  Emily's Circle
                  Pa's Pride

Plus extras of some of earlier sown dwarf types due to family/neighbour requests.

Might pop in a Dwarf Copperhead. Hmmm...

Started mine on Saturday - Burlesque... I usually don't get to start them quite thie early, but have got them in my new propagator that has integrated grow lights, so fingers crosssed!

Got some others ordered that are called White Beauty; I need more tomato plants like I need a hole in the head, but they looked interesting, so :heehee:

Well. I've remembered to sow my squished tomatoes but unfortunately,I can't remember where I put them. I've probably thrown the bit of kitchen towel away.
Not too late to resquish,I believe. I'll find something I like the taste of and sow them fresh. It won't take long to see if I was successful. If not, there'll be more space in the freezer this year.

the grow light paranoia made me laugh, I had the same worry when I set mine up in the spare room window. ended up just telling the neighbours before they got any ideas.

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to start my tomatoes off this week :) I'm curious to know what seed compost you guys are using for your tomatoes/veggies this year? I think my usual favourite (Westland seed and cutting) might not be available this year. I have an unopened bag of it from last year which I'm hoping will be ok, but it won't be enough! Thanks :)

I've been using this one, purely because it was available when I needed it...

                          https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BY2VPDC9?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

So far, so good - leeks, chillies and first round of tomatoes have sprouted.
