I was scrolling and found a video of someone who grew tomatoes from the seeds of a slice of tomato from a fast-food burger! It worked brilliantly!

I’m thinking of trying bigger tomatoes this year as I only ever do cherry toms ) but have gone off those a bit). Any recommendations for something tasty and interesting??

Always knew those places didn't cook food properly.

Bloody Butcher for earlies. Amy's Sugar Gem and Norwood Meiners are both tasty and easy to grow if you want something in the 40-50g range.

                Thanks for the suggestions @JWK @Philippa @eatenbyweasels.

I will be going to a nursery tomorrow so will see what they have from that list.

Are you buying plants or seeds? I can bung you a selection of seeds in the post for the P&P cost.

The micro dwarves sown in December are forming flower buds. This is Mongolian Dwarf. It's a pretty little plant with feathery leaves. PXL_20260311_120208031~2.jpg

I ordered one of these from eBay yesterday. Just got the delivery update and it's being delivered by Evri so I'm rather pessimistic as to whether it will actually arrive. :wallbanging: Screenshot_20260311-125519.png

Well you never know! Even if it's a mix of well known varieties you'll get something edible and it is expensive buying several packets especially of F1 varieties.

I added saved seed of a supermarket variety to the ones I sowed this year. It was very tasty bit may be an F1 so it's a bit of a gamble.

Let us know how you got on.
