I'm guessing some sort of tender periwinkle. Catharanthus roseus?

None of those have the white 'horn' like bits coming from the centre.
    Thanks for trying.

    Interesting.
I thought the white "horn" bits were just markings.
Any chance of a close up pic?
Would like to see back of flower as well.

How did you come across the pic?
Have you any clues which country it is from?

Maybe it is a plastic flower!!

I too thought the white bits were markings on the petals and would have said a Mandevilla/Dipladena or an Allamanda blanchettii.

Here is the unknown one cropped in and they definitely look like just markings ...

Either way, none of the suggestions I have been given have those white markings on any of the flowers.
It was asked about on another site and supposedly was grown from seed, received as a Purple Rose. Seller then claimed that it was a Phlox Pink Flame, which it definitely is not.
      Fascinating!

Tried to find out more info from the original poster, but no response. Think he must have given up.
      Thank-you all for your efforts.

Still think it would be nice to know what they are as they are pretty.

Like you Silver surfer I also had thought of Petunias as I sat on my patio looking at mine, especially with these new Crazytunias that are out now ... http://crazytunia.com/
