Unknowns from Heligan

    There still pretty small but I wondered if anyone might have a clue as to what these might be???

    The base of the stem is getting bulbous and out of the top of this bulbous bit is two new sets of leaves appearing...

    I 'acquired' the seeds in October so am presuming it flowers in the Summer???
    Any ideas???? [​IMG]

    Hi Windy, I have no idea what it is but it will be itneresting seeing it deveolp and perhaps flwoer.

    The colour looks a bit off, but they could be brugs.

    That's probably my dodgy photography Pete ( and as for that Champers Blackthorns had - I'll have a pint :D )
    They're a fresh darkish green and the main vein on the back of the leaf is a pinky colour [​IMG] If that helps???
    It took the seed until spring to germinate but has grown quickly since then and they're now about 6" high and just about to be re-potted.
    Brugs would be cool....just off for a Google...thanks Pete
