    I'll give Chioggia a go, why not? I can always get some Boltardy later if i don't like it.

      Another round red is Bulls Blood, tend not to get so huge and woody if left too long (unlike Boltardy) Another one , if you don't mind paying extra for an F1 is Moneta, it's a monogerm so you don't get those clusters of seedlings, that sometimes need thinning out.
      I agree they all taste much the same though.
