Vintage American Secateurs.

    Do any members have any information about these American Secateurs. There is no makers name, just 'MADE IN USA' and the letter 'S'

    Also, I would be interested to see photos of vintage secateurs you may have.

    :scratch: Now those are some strange secateurs alex.. almost a cross between an old pipe cutter & secateurs.. A specific tool I would say.. How big are they.?

    The overall length is 7" and the jaws are 3/4" which is about the maximum one can cut even with modern secateurs. As can be seen the safety catch is missing as is the spring, the remnants of which can be seen in the upper handle. The blade is damaged, but originally cut down between the two sections of the lower handle onto an anvil secured by the two rivets on the lower jaw.
