    Hello,

I'm continuing my fight to restore a part of the lawn destroyed by last summer's drought, however I have reached a slight stumbling point...some of the areas I have already scarified and cleared of dead vegetation and moss have begun to sprung weeds (mainly dandelion plants) even before I have been able to attack these areas (and in one case, after I had gone through with seeding). What do I do, ignore them or spray them?

    Cheers Nicholas

Nicholas, use a lawn weed killer on them ...that’s my advice :)
Digging them out is difficult.....dandelions have a long, long taproot. Left behind, only a small piece, will result in it growing back.
Here, I now have no need to use a lawn weed killer wholesale across the lawn ....I need only to spot spray the odd weed as it appears. :)
