    @Tinkerton, I think @pete was agreeing with you. :)

    @Obelix-Vendée, they chose that CEO cos he was the one on the ballot. The problem lies with the selection process.

    Today's decision :scratch: - housework or gardening, gardening or housework? It is completely unacceptable that housework even exists during gardening season, IMV! :th scifD36:

          I wasn't disagreeing :) ... though there is a certain fascination watching it all from afar. ;) And it beats endless BBC coverage of war.

            Reading something like that makes me despair of humanity. No other species uses such appalling coercion to subdue others of its kind.

              You're quite right, @Philippa . I WASN'T joking :biggrin: Mine was choc brown with red and white embroidery over the "chest" area, where little bits of mirrored glass were sewn in! There was also embroidery around the bottom of the sleeves, which were flared, presumably to match our jeans!
              Whaatt!! a sight we must have looked!

                I'll have you know that Indian embroidery, which includes stitching little mirrors to garments and tablecloths etc, is back in fashion again. We'll be running a class in it during next year's patchwork etc club season.

                      We have been posting lots of items on Facebook Market place and done decently well. The objective to clean out stuff, not leave stuff for others to deal with when we are gone. Recently, I just sold my Shirley Temple antique doll for $200. This doll actually was free to me years ago from a women's family at a nursing home I worked in, they simply said Take this we don't want it. So for years the doll just laid inside a box on top of my closet.
                      We have also sold many of our corvette parts we don't need anymore. The sales move slowly, but found that in November it picks up, guess folks look for Christmas gifts. I usually meet them in a public place for cash exchange for the item. All works out well, lovely folks so far.

                        I believe you iron things like that with the design pressed into a thick towel and iron on the back side.

                          Good Lord. There was a process way prior to getting "his" name on the ballot, there was one other on the ballot. Then a vote was between those two, then finally another vote later. SMH.

                          The problem was no decent Democrat was on the ballot ever. Who would want Harris, that would be crazy.
