I bought some of the oil when I was working and my knees and back were big problems, to be really honest I could see any effect plus it tastes awful.
I take nightly cannabidioi which gives me good quality sleep and I have a better life because of it . I recommend www.Prolife, always reliable - a UK based company, Jenny
Yeah but my point was really, have we ever bombed Syria without the US, and do we normally have the French along with us.
Why are we bombing Syria? Has parliament agreed to this? Is there some sort of elite competition going on to see who can inflict the most devastation on a poorer, weaker country? Jeez! What a world.
There will be lots of people on the streets of Britain if/when Starmer and his lot are kicked out. That doesn't mean bombing and kidnap to do it is justifiable
The news this morning is that it was a planned bomb strike on an ISIS underground bomb storage area. The French and UK are not bombing Syria indiscriminately.
Trump will only ever do anything if he thinks he will personally benefit, directly or indirectly, from doing it. I think he said in his 'victory speech' that the big American oil corporations will be taking of the oil industry. Wait til we see the cost of that to Venezuela!
My brother-in-law is a builder and he uses cannabis oil daily. Purchased legally so presumably has the 'nasty stuff' missing, and he swears by it although he agrees it tastes horrible.
Venezuela have had contracts with America and American companies for nearly a century in response to loans that were given. Originally the period was for 50 years and, typically, the corrupt Venezuelan various governments have not built up their economy to pay the loan back. They have had many revolutions and new governments of all types have done much to help. Some of them started off with good fiscal ideas but never followed through. China and Iran, and some other countries, have also invested in 'infrastructure' so I guess that Trump wants to make sure that America benefits. Venezuela did quite well when oil prices were high, last century, and were members of OPEC and for a short period the country's finances did OK but didn't reinvest it sufficiently in infrastructure. Who is going to take over from Maduro and will they do what Trump says is anyone's guess. There are three possible candidates and I know very little about any of them.
Trump did say that the money from Venezuela's oil would be used benefit the country's people........... tho he did add that it would also be used to benefit those of Venezuelan nationality currently living in the US. I rather suspect the next Twatter will be along the lines of "Oops - no money left after all". As for who replaces Maduro, that is up to Venezuela and it's citizens if they can hold a fair election without outside interference. The woman who is said to have actually won the last election seems not to be involved in these plans. Perhaps because she won the Nobel Peace prize instead of Trump and is therefore considered "not suitable for (his) purpose" ? All in all, little point in International Laws when they are ignored by many regimes.
The US will want a puppet in place, who will be rewarded handsomely for allowing US companies to do as they wish (eg flout environmental laws) and unceremoniously discarded if they do not, to be replaced by a tamer puppet. And so on.
The history of The Muppet Show has had an airing on BBC radio recently - didn't actually include Trump but there could well be a remake in the offing. TBH, Sooty and Sweep make more sense to me
There was something on the news earlier (I didn't fully catch it as we were taking the Xmas deccies down) about a ship called Bella One (or similar) that has apparently been being tracked by the US and despite being a Venezuelan ship has in recent weeks/months been repainted and reflagged as Russian - - this follows an attempt by the US to stop it for trafficking narcotics but also for laundering Russian oil. The thinking seems to be that the wider view here is all about Russia using Venezuela to launder their oil sales, bypassing the sanctions that have been put in place. There is also some narrative (and I think it is fair) that the likes of China and Russia will now be thinking twice whilst also being quietly impressed at the near surgical precision of going into Venezuela, hitting only state buildings and extracting both Maduro and his wife so quickly, cleanly and alive.
Is there independent confirmation of no damage to anything other than state buildings and no collateral loss of life?
