As aerodynamics matter in most Winter Olympic events, wouldn't shrinking it be more useful.

My first thought was it's a filler therefore probably quite a thick solution, so a bigger needle would be used.

 

I'd have thought the cold weather would have sufficed.
Apparently it smooths out the crotch area giving better air flow.

I may have read it wrong, but I understood that the er bigger size meant that the suit was a bit bigger, when measured during qualifying. Then ‘things’ would return to normal by the time of the actual competition, meaning the suit had a bit more slack in it. Even that little bit of extra material could act like a mini wing and allow the skier to stay in the air longer. Sounds a bit desperate to me!

 

Maybe before resorting to painful injections, competitors could sneakily employ the services of what I believe is known as a ‘fluffer’ before having their suits measured!

 

Re the penis enhancing injections, quote from a newspaper,
