Yes @pete and I've read that they send them into Ukraine in waves. Instead of blasting them all the Ukrainians have taken to capturing as many as possible to use as blueprints but also for parts - engines, guidance etc. Got to admire Ukrainian ingenuity and adpatability amongst many other attributes.

 

My brother in law took in a Ukrainian granny and grandson at the start of the “rehoming” scheme here. The boy was just of secondary school age. Not only did he pick up English from zero, he passed all his school exams and last year was offered a place at Cambridge to study finance. He declined Cambridge (!) and has decided to go to the LSE instead as he says it’s “more modern”.

 

Whatever his size, would anyone in their right minds let Trump "serve" in the military ? Given the rate at which he changes his mind, he'd be fighting for one country one day and for the other side the next.

As for the attacks on Iran, and the idea that it's citizens will be able to overcome the present regime, the US and Israel seem to believe that just knocking off some of the high ups will pave the way for revolution. Not quite that simple when you take the Revolutionary Guard into consideration and the fact that they can pretty much act without any restrictions. My OH went out to work in Iran for a French company a couple of years after the Shah was deposed. He was "guarded" 24/7 for the 3 years he was there. He learned very quickly that as long as he agreed with his guards, didn't offer any political opinions, he was safe and treated kindly. Bit of a different matter for some of his Iranian colleagues when they managed a secretive few words with him on rare occasions. I doubt the scenario has changed much since then.

Well, @pete, since he wasn't aware that Puerto Rico is part of the USA and Vance didn't know Greenland would be cold when he visited I'd have to say they're both under-educated and under-informed and dangerously stupid.
