That's Israels excuse for repeatedly bombing and invading Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank they refer to as "pruning"

Unless a binding peace treaty is signed the war hasn't ended.

It is endless, purely because Iran has sworn to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and funds Hamas, Hizbollah and others to wage a constant war of terrorism. Iran is also pals with Putin tho that may change as Putin decided the current US threat was not his problem.

Until Imams and others stop brainwashing Muslims to hate the Jews, despise Christianity and have no respect or care for women and girls there will always be fanatics ready to fight.

As long as Arab oil producers fund them there will be the resources to terrorise.

As long as shareholders and US billionaires make profits out of the arms industry they will go looking for ways to make war rather than peace as, whilst sound defence systems cost a lot, they are not in need of regular replacement so less profitable.

OK, I don't think this will be a continuous war.

The religious angle gets tricky. If there's one god ... and the warring parties both claim to believe this is the case... then it cannot be on both sides. And that one god must have created everyone, so wants everyone alive today alive today. So, killing its creations is not going to make it happy.

Not sure you could actually get any kind of peace treaty with hezbola or Iran.

As we all know we'll, getting religious nutcases to abide by peace treaties is pretty much impossible, you can only do that politically, and even then the nutcases still roam in a terrorist way.
Iran seems to be mostly run by the nutcases rather than politics, unless the politics can remove its self from the religious fanatics its never going to be sorted out to any degree.
Just how it appears to me.

The worst thing in this world is religion its the spawn of all evil while pretending to be the opposite.

I don't see there ever being a lasting peace between Israel and Palestine/Hezbolla. Both are determined to wipe the other off the face of the earth.

Thanks @Obelix-Vendée re the Trump immigrant status. Can't keep up with all the wives and offspring - bad enough with the Royals
Israel again warning civilians to evacuate areas they intend bombing. They do this every time - where exactly are these people supposed to move to - yet again ?
As for the US claiming that their latest war mongering was "defensive" I can't see them getting very far with that. They, along with Israel, have started something without any follow up plan in mind. Regime change isn't quite that simple. Apart from the devastation being caused ( lots of financial opportunities for some ? ), will either country be willing to accept refugees from Iran ? Doubt it even tho there are many there who don't follow the regime but are being obliterated regardless.
Trump also needs to look a little deeper into the relationship between the US and the UK - may not be willing to join in his bombing campaign but he gets plenty of intel from here.

Well there are at least three gods being invoked: a Jewish one, a Muslim one and a Christian one. Each is the according to their believers "the one true god".
The problem then is that each religion has schismed over differences of belief.
Jews have Orthodox, Ultra Orthodox, Liberal etc.
Muslims have Sunni and Shia which have both split further.
Christians Catholics and Protestants and each of these has split into multiple branches, Lutheran, Methodist, Eastern Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Copts, Ethiopia is different again.
The only thing they may agree on is that whichever God is God he's a bloke.

After thousands were murdered in Iran during the last protests I can understand the masses who want change being extremely nervous, to put it mildly, about showing themselves on the streets again. Although in the minority if reports are to be believed, the supporters of the hard liners are the ones with the weapons. The only realistic chance of regime change is if the army moves against them too.

As is usual, whoever controls the army will run the country, which is why it's usually the army that starts a coup.

Yes, each group believes in their one god, which created everything and therefore created all other people. I don't think any of the groups thinks their god only created them and someone else created the non-believers.

Still, given throughout history religious zealots have often been murderous thugs, they must square it somehow.

God only exists in the imagination but is so often used as an excuse for all kinds of malicious behaviour.
Until, or if, that is ever understood and accepted then wars based on religious beliefs will continue.

The brainwashing makes me so sad. Such a lot of time and energy wasted on pointless rituals. IMV, religion has been the biggest hindrance to human progress.
