I still think the Iranian regime is an affront to humanity in general and women in particular but whole scale bombing is not the answer.

So would you just talk nicely to them, or just leave them to it.
Personally I'd leave them to it, what they do in their own country is up to them, but I'm not sure they would not threaten other countries if they had nuclear weapons, so that kind of thing would be my worry.
How fa r they off they are from a nuclear ballistic missile is not something I would know, but I think that they are just crazy enough to use them if they were.
Sorry but I just would not trust them in any way.

I think one problem with trying to bomb Iran into submission is that being martyred is a good thing in their religion. I think Trump may not have taken that into account. He is used to others backing down when he bullies them. My guess is that this isn’t going to end quickly or smoothly.

They're already referring to the dead ayatollahs as martyrs and a spokesman has gone online and apologised to their Arab neighbours who were attacked saying that the bomb that took out their beloved leader also took out senior military officers and the attcks on neighbours were orchestrated by junior but ardent military officers.

It'll be interesting to see if that calms things down but I've seen reports that the Arab gulf states are just a teeny bit cross with trumpy and co and are talking of withdrawing all their investments in the US. That's trillions of dollars.

        Oops!

I agree you cant bomb a country into submission, neither can you bring regime change buy invasion, it never works, but the alternative is to allow these weird people to threaten the world, to me Iran is more dangerous than Russia if they get their hands on nuclear weapons.
The only good martyrs are dead ones.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

The Gulf states should now see what a load of liars the Iranians are, if they take that onboard they must be pretty gullible but who can fathom religion.

I think we have seen enough suicide bombers to realise they like to die and kill as many other people as possible in the process.
If that makes them a martyr then so be it, the best part is they don't get to do it twice.

The only thing that will calm things down is when Iran runs out of missiles.
