I hate celebrities or actors that start spouting their beliefs as if we should follow them.
They all live in a totally different world to the person in the street and have no right to preach to the masses.
They dont care what I think so why should I care what they think, its mostly about promoting their brand anyway.

If they want to do anything they should donate some of their millions anonymously to charities and good causes.

Why do the BBC need to pay stupid money to ‘retain’ this supposed talent? They currently are pretty well guaranteed their funding who ever is presenting the news or hosting a radio programme. I think they have lost more licence payers by wasting money in this cult of celebrity, than they do if popular broadcasters leave for other stations.
I get angry when ‘celebrities’ used their platform of fame to voice opinions that they have no real experience or expertise in. They may have achieved their fame by hard work, but there will also have been a huge element of luck. There are limited opportunities for the rest of the population to have their views plastered across the papers.

I get annoyed if anybody starts to try and tell me I should follow them, they don't have to be a "celebrity".

Maybe "homophobic" is not quite the right choice of word. (Can a gay person be homophobic?) A better description might be being belittling and derogatory towards someone specifically referencing their sexuality.
