Oh, yes, you can have California. The only part I like is the way North part. But it is the shame the politics of that state are horrid, they are in debt deep. And only 4 building permits so far has been approved out of the 1,200 burned homes in that recent fire. which could have been prevented had the governor did his job.
More and more are turning up saying what they witness him like, demented and all. Further investigation on the way to find out who the puppet masters were.
Just read this. In Canada's Alberta, national unity is on the ballot If they are rumbling unhappy, and the idea tossed into the hat by Trump, who knows.
Zelensky is a different type of clever, I have seen it in his face and eyes, one that I do not trust at all. But on the flip side, he did not start the war, Putin did. https://thehill.com/opinion/5146149-zelensky-war-ego/
I can see the frustration when you are outnumbered in elections, and obviously the bigger the country the more likely that is to happen, the big cities just win all the time.
Zelensky wants Ukraine back, free from terror and oppression and with all its kidnapped children and citizens back home. I think he has integrity. Unlike Trump he's never been caught on film with the likes of Jeffrey Epstein at unsavoury parties and groping young women. Nor has he been convicted in courts or been a serial bankrupt. His entire family is banned from any involvement with charities in NY state after they were found stealing from a children's cancer charity. As for Biden, yes, he suffered from dementia but, frankly, that just shows how bankrupt and corrupt is the US political system that neither the Democrats nor the republicans could come up with a better candidate. Anyone remember Reagan and his dementia at the end? It's a fact of life and a risk with electing old men but it's less serious if there is a competent set of government departments with decent leaders and policies as well as good relations with other nations. Just to be fair, I also couldn't believe it when the UK Conservatives repeatedly selected Boris Johnson for any position, let alone leader and prime Minister. He'd been shown to be a serial liar and philanderer with a short attention span and a contempt for detail. Hardly a surprise when he turned out to be incompetent too. The trouble is, that sort of failure doesn't just affect him and will have long term consequences for many.
Trumps desire to take Canada into the fold and annex Greenland has had the little talked about effect of improving my knowledge of geography and history. It had never occurred to me before to wonder why North America was split into Canada and America, given both were originally British colonies. Nor did I realise that Denmark has sovereignty over Greenland. So, something good has come out of it all
Sad state of affairs when the best the USA can come up with for President is an old man with dementia, or a convicted criminal unable to telling the truth. So, tempted by the promises of low taxes and food prices,( which aren’t happening) they have voted in Trump, who has surrounded himself with a bunch of equally self serving yes-men, and is getting away with wrecking the USA to line his own pockets. Just so sad.
@ViewAhead if anybody was trying to suggest the Biden was competent they did a pretty poor job. He seemed dazed and confused when elected, and totally ga-ga when replaced by Agent Orange.
Something interesting I noticed as we were roaming about on a car road trip through Canada, specifically Nova Scotia, Cabots Trail, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick, I did not see one Canadian flag flown in anyone's yard, house etc. What we saw were nationality flags, Polish Flag, Italian Flag, French Flag, etc. Here in the USA if someone fly's a flag its the American flag, none other is seen. Once in a while a football team flag.
there are statements from some democrats that swear he was awesome near the end. just blow their credibility.
