    We keep a couple of the Greater Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) in the area where we have an abundance of Verbascum chaixii as the thapsus attracts the moth away from the chaixii.

      This too is a verbascum a very pretty one ,the seeds have a really hard covering. I used to send my collected seed to the cottage garden society. It takes a while to get the thousand s of the tiny, sèed as the outer covering is hard .

      I now collect the long stems and spray gold and silver for Christmas decorations.
